ACA Teachers are what makes our program so unique and extra special. Our teachers are much more than caregivers. Yes, care-giving is an important part of being a teacher, but our teachers are so much more.
Beyond just teaching, Our teachers love, encourage and bond with children AND families, all while focusing on your child’s learning style and what makes them unique and special to foster a love of learning.
Parents often tell us they feel like a part of their family, and we agree that is the way it should be. To be honest, this whole website should be about the teachers. Come meet our teachers and you will agree.
Our preschool App is a game changer! You will always know what we are learning and the activities your child is engaging in each day with our curriculum post details and photos and video of your child engaged and learning
Parents get a snap shot of what the daily curriculum is, your child actually doing the curriculum and what the benefit is of the curriculum they are learning.
The photos to the right are examples of posts sent to parents in the last 6 months.

Our indoor playground is a parent favorite of what makes us so unique. Indoor play gives your child the movement they crave, even on rainy and hot days.
Plus, they continue their social and emotion learning by remaining fully engaged in their learning by, exploring their play spaces, and connecting with friends, as well as, games and team challanges.
More of what makes ACA great...

Learning activities are presented in a meaningful way, and every activity is linked to early childhood Standards for each age group.

The benefit of earning a preschool accreditation is Quality.
By becoming an accredited program, we are held to the highest standard by our peers for our curriculum implementation, Teacher development and success.

Our infant program is designed to be flexible in order to meet their changing needs.
From six weeks to six months, their needs are simply to bond with their caregivers and work on developing their muscles. We plan “tummy time” and simple games like peek-a-boo to encourage their natural curiosity.
ACA infant classrooms are extra special and ensure a safe environment and full of toys to encourage learning. Our classrooms are stocked with books, manipulatives, music, and blocks, but that is not all. We even have classroom buggies.
We will take numerous outdoor and indoor walks and adventures each day, while also spending time at our special soft playground designed for our little guys in our indoor playground.

During this exciting time of their lives, your toddler learns to walk, talk, run, and climb. They begin to process of becoming more independent.
We help them learn to feed themselves, develop language skills, and play alongside other toddlers. Whether it’s with art, music, or sand and water play your child will be exploring and learning in both our indoor and outdoor learning environments.

We begin early preschool activities by introducing circle time with this age group. This is a time for calendar activities and lessons that introduce letters, numbers, colors and shapes.
During recess, your child will participate in games and activities along with supervised free-play activities in our safe outdoor and indoor age appropriate playgrounds.
We also teach the beginnings of potty-training to reinforce what your child is learning at home.

Our program for three- and four-year-old students teaches per-writing skills: letter recognition, numbers, shapes and colors, and even how to write and recognize their own names. They will engage and learn through simple science projects, learn new songs, and learn to play and share with other children. Our focus is on preparing them to get a head start on Kindergarten.
Our preschool program will teach them all about their world around them and so much more. Your child will learn and grow each day through interactive and cooperative games, rhyming, and storybook activities, your child will grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.

We offer school pick up transportation to ACA from our NW area schools (Norton, Glen Springs, Talbot, Meadowbrook and LIttlewood).
Once arriving your child will have a snack and complete homework.
Once homework is completed the fun begins! Our program was designed to provide fun and engaging group activities and games, because we believe that learning should be fun!
Your child will also have the option to free play on both our indoor and outdoor playgrounds and obstacle courses. Beyond just fun and physical activities, we hope that your child will foster lifelong friendships and have an amazing school year with us!
